What type of testosterone do you use?
We use injectable bio-indentical testosterone cypionate. It is chemically identical to the testosterone that your own body produces.

Where are the injections given?
At your option, they can be given in the gluteal muscle, upper thigh or shoulder.

Can I do my own injections?
Yes, if you are comfortable doing so, our medical staff will instruct you as to the proper technique and your prescription and syringes will arrive discretely, as needed, by mail.

What dosing schedule do you use?
This varies from person to person depending on current testosterone levels and several other factors. Our medical staff will determine the proper dose and frequency of injections during your medical evaluation.

Am I eligible for Testosterone Replacement Therapy?
Eligibility is determined by a clinical evaluation which includes your medical history, current physical condition, the symptoms you are experiencing and the results of your lab work.

How long does Testosterone therapy continue?
Because your body can no longer produce adequate levels, Testosterone therapy continues indefinitely in the vast majority of patients. Diabetics for example, continue their hormone replacement therapy throughout their lives with wonderful results. You can elect to discontinue at any time, however, any symptoms alleviated by the therapy may begin to resurface in a matter of weeks.

How long does initial consultation take?
Your initial evaluation takes about an hour. This includes blood testing, evaluation of medical history and symptoms as well as a physical exam. We have on site testing capability so your results will be available during your initial visit.
